Customer Support : Account Specialist

    The Account Specialist will provide technical support and training to our end-users via our various support systems. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, reliable, and an energetic team player who enjoys working with technology, and is savvy with SaaS solutions. This is initially a part-time position where you can work from a home office.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Interact with customers and prospects to provide support via phone, email, chat, ticketing system or remote assistance through screen sharing software.
    • Maintain extensive, expert working knowledge of all systems, tools, processes and procedures required to resolve customer impacting issues.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by identifying and responding to customers with infrequent usage.
    • Guide customers through a successful and efficient setup and implementation process.
    • Proactively contact all new customers to ensure that the product has been received and correctly installed. Confirm the customer is familiar with the product value and comfortable using the product to its fullest potential.
    • Assist the inside sales team on email communications that are support related.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for improving customer support documents and resources.
    • Participate in the continuous development of the overall product.
    • Keep detailed records about customer cases in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
    • Assist with various tasks for QA support including participating in internal testing of minor releases and staged beta testing with customers prior to product releases.
    • Willing to work additional hours, as required, to meet staffing levels or to better serve our customer base.

    Some of the skills that would make you a fit for this position include:
    • You love talking to people and helping whenever you can, solving user problems.
    • 1-2 years of customer service or technical support experience -- would consider a recent graduate if qualifications match in other areas.
    • 1-2 years of experience working in consumer product distribution and/or grocery distribution.
    • Strong proficiency using Excel.
    • Proficiency in the areas of Windows, Mac, iOS, MS Office, Outlook and Internet technologies.
    • Proficiency using QuickBooks or other accounting software applications.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Ability to work well with others and share responsibility.
    • Willingness to take on new tasks as required.
